Don't even think about driving your car on the roads up here between November and March. They lay down so much salt, liquid calcium chloride, and gravel that your nice car will turn into a rust bucket before your eyes in 2 or 3 winters. That's why they call this part of the country the rust belt. Those of us who want to keep are cars in good condition store them over the winter and buy a "road rat" for a daily winter driver.
