OK, finally got my polished EVO II's and S-03's all mounted. Now time to put them on the car. When I ordered the wheels I got the wheel kit that goes with them (short stud length, center cap, and air valve (PN B66470105)). I also got the wheel locks (PN B6 6 40 8233) to avoid having them accidnetily removed.
Here is the next issue to address. The wheel lock studs are topped whith chrome, which looks nice with the polished rim. The other studs are the good old "aged steel" grey and the combo looks terrible. Anyone know if there are chrome studs (just the tops) available or another solution to the problem?
I did a search but the closest I got was a comment about using a chrome cap that requires a special tool and is used with the ML series chromed wheels.
Need the help - hate to have a shabby E500 on the road..... after all it is all in the details.
