I agree with matt. I put on a rear muffler, universal Arospeed. car sounds great, and looks great too.

I believe the resonator is after the cats before the muffler on most mercedes.

While my car is not a V-8, my car sounds sweet as hell now.

IF you really want to gett he car to sound amazing, I say go to a custom muffler shop and tell them how you want it to sound, they can put together a nice custom system for you, either a whole cat back system, or just replace the muffler and go with some tips.

My brother had his range rover done with magnaflow rear muffler, and it sounds well better than most hot rods I have ever heard. and his car is a stock rover with a custom muffler and tips. Sound is just sweet.
