I met Dick Yuengling when I was in college. He was a very nice guy and was willing to see a group of us (college advertising students) and let us present to him and give us a critique. Some of our ideas were incorporated into their marketing plan. He at least used to go bow hunting with a friend of mine's dad and Ted Nugent.
This happened a few days before they went live with their "new" canning line for "Black & Tan", so we got to see the whole behind the scene operation.
