I live in the Palm Springs area where this car was used. There are many low mileage Benzes in this area. People use this as a winter home and leave the car in the garage for 6-8 months when they go home. I imagine the same thing happens in Florida. The advantage here or in Arizona, there is NO rust.(Just rattlesnakes in the boot!)
