Try driving an old 220D(have owned two of 'em), and you'll appreciate what a hot rod these 300 turbo's are! Seems I read somewhere that the 0-60mph time was somewhere around 11 sec's. (verses 28 sec's for the 220D& 24sec's for the 240D) Not bad for a 2-ton car with an auto and a 3-liter diesel. I'm perfectly happy with it.
