Having no political affiliation, myself.. I'm seeing the same thing. The Republicans have always been about restricting rights, spending trillions of taxpayer money irresponsibly, and starting senseless wars.
On the other hand, we have the Democrats who want to tax us into oblivion while catering to illegal immigrants, slackers, and pouring money into their 'special interest' projects.
South Park said it best, a few seasons back. We have a choice between a "Turd Sandwich" and a "Giant douche". Both of them are pretty bad choices, but we're stuck with one of them. Though, to be honest? I'd rather get screwed over by a democrat than a republican, since I'd rather be broke (but with all my rights intact), than at war and living in a real-world version of "1984". Either way, we're screwed. =P
