I had my car detailed and sometime afterwards, I noticed that the mirror motor would not tilt the mirror outwards. Up, down and in work fine. When I press the console knob to move the mirror out, it does not move. Is this fixable? How do these "mating surfaces" fasten anyhow? Care to guess how he could have damaged it?
The mirror stays put during driving, but after the door closes a few times, it will move in and I'm looking down the side of the car once again. argggh!

Anyone got a schematic of how the innards work?
