Check www.timevalve.com for some ideas. I think the manifolds will physically fit, but there might be a difference in exhaust port configuration between the 84 M117 and the 86 M116. The exhaust manifold part numbers for a US 84 500SEL and a US 86 420SEL are different if that's any indication.
