The one chipper is well known in Europe and the other is big here in the US, and both have been here to my GTG and will be here this Oct for the 6th annual fall GTG.
My VW's were the same way, my wifes car running everyday 42 cetane rotgut fuel would top out about 109 mph down hill, but when reunning the 50 cetane fuel we had local at the time the car would push the 130 mark hard topping out about 126/128 range. Since the cost of driving 60 miles round trip to fill with 46 Cetane B2 has hit almost $10 I decided I would try the local in town 42 catane crap. I have now for the first time seen some soot on my bumper and see soot at night now with ease. So I have decided I will go back to buying my fuel where I had been at a MFA station, I will just have to bite the bullet.Maybe before long I can buy 50+ cetane with the growth of bio fuel from the Indian jatropha plant grown in the US if all goes right.
I have wanted to have mine chipped, but I have a "long as I own it warranty on drive train" and decided I didn't need to risk the warranty being voided.
Old Navy 6th annual GTG If you would like to come to the GTG then by all means do, just log in at the VW sight or notify me here by PM.
