No this was one of the newer ones with the parallel glow system and the R-4 type compressor mount. The sad thing is that the engine looked really good when I got it and was doing all the basic cleanup like valve adjustment and things. When I went to drive it for the first time it was really zippy and sounded excellent. I really hope that there was no other engine damage beside the chain snapping.
