I think ours is probably about the same size. No railway, but a davit launch. Big boats have to put at a large marina close by or sail in from the Atlantic. Probably 30-40 boats docked at any given time. It is in the middle of nowhere, so like your's, there are regular folks that are members there and get good use of it, then a few mega rich that are in it just to support the community near their isolated compounds. The hard core members' kids race dinks, ect... and they have three or four regattas a season. I learned how to swim in the pool and had a lot of summer friends there so I keep it up for sentimental reasons as much as anything. (plus my brother and sister split the tab with me and use the club as my guests--no I wouldn't do that if I used it more than 4-5 times a year)
