Within the last couple years there has been a repair kit offered to fix the sway bar breaking there. You just cut off the broken end and weld in a new end. I've installed a few and so far so good. Not sure who is selling the kit off the top of my head, maybe adsit or one of the other MB aftermarket suppliers. Beats the hell out of pulling out the sway bar and replacing it.
