yes i did try it on the trunk, when i mention the red light blinks, i mean the remote.
when i point it on the car, the lights ( green ) on the door handle, does not light anywhere on the car, trunk or doors.
I tried both ways using the keylock and the ignition.

and i only have the one key fob,

i am not sure how to do the thng with the digital camera.
