The mb oem battery in my 1999 clk320 died, and I had a one-year old battery I maintained with a trickle-charger, so I replaced the old one. I had no complaint on the oem mb unit, as it gave perfect service since Feb. 1999. The battery I installed is not the standard size for the clk; rather, it is the standard size for the w124. However, my clk does not have xenon lights or any other options with a big power drain and has run perfectly with the w124 battery. Should I bother replacing it with the larger size it came with? Thanks.
