I have yet to taste a decent boxed wine. A better solution to your problem would be to look for screw-cap wines. In past years these used to be the cheapest bottles of gut-rot you could buy. But a lot has changed. Now you're getting respectable wineries bottling decent product with screw caps instead of corks. Pour yourself a glass, screw the cap back on tightly, and voila - the oxygen stays outside the bottle.

This is still sacrilege for French wineries for the most part, but new-world wineries are really embracing it. Wolf Blass, from Australia, makes several good table wines in both white and red varietals with screw caps. I like their red label Cabernet Sauvignon/Shiraz blend for about $14 a bottle Canadian. I'm sure it would be cheaper for you in the US.
