I am in the process of changing the rear window seal of the 1983 240D. I have gotten everything cleaned up and have decided to carry it to a windshield installation place to have it re-installed. After messing around trying to install the rubber seal on the windshield I decided to turn it over to someone that does it every day. My facilities are lacking and I don't feel that I will be able to install it by myself. Any diyer's out there ever done one successfully?
Anyway, I am having them install a new windshield in the front because it is cracked all the way accross.
