Not true. Shell is only mentioned at the start of the film and in the "The End" logo after the credits. The only thing promoted in the video was the Diesel engine and its efficiency advantages over steam, hot bulb, gas and gasoline engines, not the fuel it uses.
Because its "Made by
Big Oil" does not automatically mean its produced simply to sell their products. Its a video of the Diesel engine's history and its differences from the other 4 common types (for the time) of heat engines.

The only problem with jatropha oil is that by the time it gets into circulation Algae production will have eclipsed it in production capacity and cost effectiveness.
