Remove the door lock complete with actuator, from the rear door

Remove the screw at the base of the actuator-depending on model this is either a cross-head or a Torx type

At the top of the actuator unclip the control rod from the interior lock button rod

Unhook the actuator from the lock assembly to remove

refitting is the reverse sequence
