Hey all!

On my '78 240D, there is a metallic clacking on turns that SEEMS to be coming from my front end, I think the right hand side. Now I know CV joints can make this noise on FWD cars when they go bad. Is there any common problems on these cars that could cause this?? Bearings?? I haven't jacked it up yet to have a better look but it is bothering me.
