Question easiest way to tighten alternator belt???
Hi all--

So I just installed a new alternator in my 1981 240d. I have the lower bolt in, and the upper adjustment bolt on (but not tight). But I can't seem to figure out how to get the belt tight enough so that I can crank down the adjustment bolt. I'm guessing something to do with leverage? Any tricks/tips?
