The 3 vacuum lines do attach to the throttle body. The nipples they attach to point towards the rear of the car making in very difficult to attach the lines with everything assembled. It can be done but it is very difficult. Your best bet is to take the air flow meter off so that you can access the rear of the throttle body. This would be a good time to renew all of the idle air distribution hoses and even the rubber boot part of the air flow meter if it is hard or cracking. Dig up the diagram before you tear into it, the vacuum ports on the throttle body are not all the same and get vacuum at different throttle angles. So you want to make sure you connect the right line to each port.
