I am about to install my LCA bushing. I have heard you are not supposed to use grease to install the new bushing, but what is the danger? Will it soften the rubber? I noticed that the inside of my LCA where the bushing goes had a bit of surface rust and I think the grease could help prevent rust and help me insert my bushing. I was thinking of using mobil 1 synthetic grease.
