YUP, I found a plastic, in-line filter just in front of the turbo assembly, on the passenger side of the engine. The fuel line then crosses the front of the engine, over the top of the radiator, then goes into the screw-on cannister filter.

I never noticed the in-line before. In the parts books, its called the "Primary fuel filter". The cannister is called the "secondary fuel filter".

I ordered these two filters and will pick them up in the morning. I'll also get some injector cleaner.

The engine has been stalling occasionally when coasting to a stop. I changed the air cleaner and that seemed to help, but it ain't right yet.
