I remember you mentioning problems w/ neighbors, citations, reports, and having to remove your vehicles.
In some states the law requires cars to have license plates on them at the very least to be parked somewhere (ie.. street) - or at least be moved (legally).
I wouldn't be surprised if person(s) did their research before calling in complaints (or vice versa) and removed the plates to see to it you did not find some loophole in avoiding the citation
