What are the basic and essential tools needed to diagnose and repair the vac system{s} of my sig car.
I keep finding plugged vac hoses and fittings; one in the trunk up in the rt rear fenderwell, another in the upper trunk sill near the trunk latch. Are there some optional components that I may not have?
I have not experienced any obvious problems with the car but I am not sure what all is operated by vac.
Power windows work elec or vac?
Power ant? looks like an aftermarket electric unit.
I have Manual trunk lock and manual door locks. should they be power?
Haven't used climate controls. Round knobs on upper console/dash area; Driver side rotates, pass side stuck. Not used much, seized?
Florida car so not much heat needed , even less on the pass side
AC belt off comp and pressure switch underhood is out and deadheaded
Trans lightly kalunks into gear but seems to shift ok no obvious slipping
What have I missed beyond the underhood connections and components
I need to learn this if I want to keep this car.
