I don't think the media lean left or right. They lean in favor of ratings, or circulation, as the case may be.

One area where Obama seems to get more media attention than McCain is on the subject of flip-flops. Mr. Straight-Talk-Express has flip-flopped on one issue after another, but I don't recall hearing or reading much about it. Obama modifies his tune on a few issues and all we hear about is how he's a flip-flopper. I don't see this as an anti-Obama bias. I see it as the media sticking with a script that says that McCain is a maverick and straight-talker. That script has served their business purposes well, so they will stick with it.
