There are at least 4 quality levels in brake pad compounds. There are at least 6 O.E. pad manufacturers & most of them have several quality compounds. How do you get the pad that doesn't squeal?? Find what the original pad compound was & stick with it. The rear brakes do only 20/percent of the braking so a hi-perf compound isn't important. On the rear of my rece car I have OE pads(textar) & no fade.
