Mrs. MTI commented yesterday, while killing time in the Apple Store, that the new 16GB iPhone retails for less than the 16GB iPod Touch, but has a camera and a phone. There was still a line of people going out the door waiting to buy a new 3G and activate, so we figured that AT&T was subsidizing the retail price.
