Wife has simple requirements - minimum of half an acre (though 3 would be far closer to acceptable as a starting point) and nothing newer than 1930 (and if it's that new it'd better be a damn rockin' craftsman).
Much more interested in finding a mid-late 1700's vintage place and start having some serious fun bringing it back to life.

Manchester is about 15 minutes east of me. They've been doing a lot of redevelopment, renovation and restoration and is probably on the cusp of a pretty decent boom. Neat little city with a big town feel with a good tax base thanks to some large malls on the northeast side.
