My only advice without starting an argument that will go nowhere but ugly is to go take some adult Bible classes and make the determination yourself.
You must be interested in believing in something if you even asked the question in the first place.
You want answers.
Go ask some hard questions, I did, it took a while, but I finally understood after I actually talked to my pastor about some things and took some classes.
I had experienced too many small miracles in my life to deny that God's existence.
I can give many examples of small miracles in my life, but I'll share one that stands out as the one that solidified my belief.
Years back when I lived near a bad part of town, I got jumped (again) by a group of black guys waiting to kill the first white kid they see, yes, racism at it's best.
I spent some time in the hospital, and so did two of my attackers before it was all over.
While I was healing, my brother borrowed my only car, I told him to take it easy because I just had my first child and I needed that car to get to work.
Long story short, he beat the crap out of it and blew up the transmission.
I looked everywhere for a free transmission because I was a struggling young Dad with a Wife and a baby, a crappy job, and a broken body.
I price checked used tranny's everywhere and the price at every junk yard was $300 for a good used trans.
I did not have the money, I was struggling bad, was injured, and was at the end of my rope.
The only thing I could do was call out God's name and ask him to somehow please provide me with a miracle to pay for this transmission.
Okay, you ready?
The very next day, I check the mail and among the bills found a check made out to me in the exact amount of $300.00.
I almost passed out and I felt the warmest sensation go over my body in recognizing this was a miracle from God.
What else could it be?
Turns out, there was a woman that witnessed me getting jumped and called the cops, but did not give a statement to avoid getting retaliated against by the guys that jumped me.
She decided to contact an agency for crime victims while I was in the hospital, told them what happened, they reviewed my case, sent me a minimum amount.
I contacted them to see how this came about, and they would not give me the Woman's name, but said the woman prayed for a miracle that I would not get killed and would somehow be blessed as a result of this mugging.
Here's one, I could share more, but I'd much rather see you non believers realizing your own small miracles on a daily basis.
God wan't us to seek him, talk to him every day, ask for his guidence and you'll see changes in your life that will make your head spin.
With love Brothers, give it a shot, he did for us.
