So I checked every fuse, and three were blown. None of the the blown fuses were labeled with anything to do with the car starting. However it starts, but still raced. After further investigation, when I replaced the fan reg I had to remove the long plastic housing that touches the throttle assembly. I inadvertantly knocked the throttle cable out of it's housing and the cable stop was caught on the housing which held the throttle open. Fixed. Works like a charm.
Rookie mistakes, I know. You've got to start somewhere. At least I didn't have it flat-bedded to get three fuses replaced and get a cable unstuck.
