I hear its going to be '04. In any case, the 270 cdi has 4 less horsepower than my '99 E300 IDI, but has over 100 more lbs of torque. However, its still more than a half second slower than my '99. Trade off? OVER 10 more mpg. Outstanding!! These new engines are amazing. With all that torque you wont even notice the slightly slower 0-60.
