I do think it tends to cause more harm than good, yes. When they show a break in the trend, I will change my mind.
I'd have to agree that it works for the oil or any industry that can afford the special interests groups to lobby them. Unfortunately, small industries and we the people don't seem to be able to compete. As such, it works for them and not us Mr Nobodies. That is why I'd rather they stay away and we fly under the radar until this cause or any other is strong enough to stand on it's own.
