I had a 2.41 in my El Camino, naturally aspirated V8 diesel w/130HP

Was a slug off the line, but still fun to drive.

0.70:1 overdrive gave me something like 1,800RPM @ 75MPH

The millage was astounding, around 35MPG.


Tell me what happens if you slap 2.88's or lower in a 300D
