Virgin Galactic is a private enterprise, and not government related.

In the same vein, what would an Iraqi think about Al Gore's traipsing around the globe in his big ole jet, preaching about pollution/warming - when it doesn't do the Iraqi any good...matter of fact, less oil usage could hurt him (or at least his government, in lost oil export revenues).

An educated Iraqi, would probably think that a private firm offering flights in to space is pretty damned neat.

A Redneck Iraqi might say that Al Gore is anti-Iraqi.


The fact that we have digressed into world politics, and political philosophy is an insult to the original thread - which was to celebrate a great step forward into the future of air/space travel.
