I have a 1980 240D. I went on a three week vacation and left the Mercedes unlocked in the garage. When I returned, I could not lock or unlock the car with the key. I also could not press the manual door latches down. All seemed rigid in the up/unlocked position. I have never had any problems with the vacuum locking system in the past. Does anyone have an answer to this one?
