I definitly second the suggestion for an adaptor bracket to replace the R4 compressor with something more modern (any idea or which compressor would be a good candidate for this?).
An air-intake box to fit under the fender would also be nice (mostly to free space around the turbo).
Another nice fabrication project would be a dry-sump/oil filter assembly to replace the oil filter housing.
Finally... the ultimate fabrication job (dream on dude!!!) a cross-flow head for the 617 with it corresponding intake assembly (this is as unlikely than the V10 proposed above).
