CK42, The MB books are not year model specific but rather cover the run of the chassis. They do show break downs of production changes, something like: prior to 09/xx and after 09/xx or by unit number (last 6 of the VIN).

I find the CD's to be just as good as the book, except for some of the fine detail you get in print (I have both for the 108, only CD for the 126). The one draw back to the CD is that you can't sit in your favorite chair and thumb through it.
