OK, Chemistry and / or physics aren't my strong suit anymore, but something stated in there doesn't quite add up to ME.

Burning one gallon of diesel emits 20 Pounds of CO2, a gallon only weighs 7ish lbs.

Even considering a generous air/fuel mix this seems a bit extreme to me. Particularly considering all the other things that are emitted, NO2, water ....
