They ARE easy to replace!

I've done mine three times during my ownership. Sometimes you don't even see the wear until you take the belt off and inspect it.

I had one belt that had a chipped groove, and when it went around the smog pulley, it sounded like a worn clutch bearing! Again, couldn't see the damage on the belt until I pulled it...
