Did you just spin it on? Or did you tighten the bolt from the top too? I don't have the torque spec in front of me, but I had to really crank down on the bolt to get the wrench to click.
On my 240, I filled the new filter with ATF, a thin film on the rubber gasket, spun it on, then tightend and torqued it down, never had a leak.
