ECM Learning?
The default ignition programming is obviously set with the R16 installed. The ECM will have to "learn" a bit after the R16 is removed - I don't know how long it will take for the program to adjust to the removal of the resistor - perhaps a member tech can comment?
Anyway - my 0-60 times did not change with or without the resistor, even after a full tank of gas without the R16. I timed two runs without and then replaced and did two runs with. A possible mistake, though, is that I did not "reset" the ECM to the factory program before timing with the R16 back in. A quick removal of the battery terminal should "reboot" teh ecm and reinstall the factory settings.
I'll run some more 0-60 and 1/4 mile times later to verify.
