sorry, lights are off. key is out.

Not all the lights on the dash stay on, for example the vent lights and hazard switch light go on and off like they should.

the headlights work normally; but the switch does seem funky; the parking lights seem not to work right; sometimes the right one workd sometimes the left, and now the fog lights wont work...though i suspect i just disconnected it when i was messing with the switch just now.

it does not matter if the headlight switch was ever turned on off. as soon as i put the fuse back in, the lights go on.

btw, all the window switches also stay on as does the light for the sunroof switch.

i have also taken the roof light/switch out to see if perhaps feedback in it might be source, but nothing changed.

i will twiddle with the headlight switch to see if i can ever get them to go off. i have tried a bit with no luck.

could it be a relay or control module? i mentioned this to my indy and his first guess was the headlight switch OR the light control module (a $300 part...)

but i have a sinking feeling it might be a ground loose somewhere. when i turn the radio on an off now i hear a clicking/popping sound through the speakers that i never heard before that to me sounds like a ground issue.
