Unfortunately I worked on a few of these in the 80s and they are the worst engine toyota ever made. The injector pumps would leak and the cam sprocket would shear off the locator pin in the camshaft about every 25K miles resulting in bent valves at the least, broken head and block at the worst.
Back to your question, there is only the injector pump to supply fuel from the tank to the injectors. No intank or frame mounted pumps. These engines were in Camrys mostly
