Bosch plug threads are nickel coated to alleviate need for antiseize.

Bosch recommends against antiseize.

Mercedes recommends against antiseize.

You will NEVER get an accurate torque reading on a plug (or anything else) coated with antiseize and you risk overtightening and stripping threads.

Bosch Platinum plugs are K-mart items. If you check various Bosch websites around the world you'll note these are only sold in the USA--it's the place where folks "believe" in things like "filterchargers," cat-back exhausts, Slick 50, etc. Easy pickins, that is.
