Just forward of the batteries,@ first glance it looks like a mudflap, but look again, it has a fan on it, and fancy tubin' and such.

Is it the auto tranny cooler?

I think I'm buying one of these beasties, (1994) I've been searching but haven't found any good online resources, all the parts houses say 'call us for a quote', and I can't find any discussion groups, or even good diagrams.

However I have read about their shady recall practices.
