Thanks to everyone who took the time to stop, read, and offer experience and knowledge. Thanks to those who answered my PM,s and to Roy who called me out of the blue to offer help and suggestions....My research on my issue was invaluable on this site. I actually got rid of my Lincoln TownCar and got a old 300E because I just was too scared driving a FORD which may just die without explanation. I would have had a fit if I had to make repairs on a car that at 10 years old isn't a 1/4 car of this old 300E. Thanks again, and I owe everyone a drink on me in SFLA.
