I need some help with a transmission swap please. The old one is 722 409 02 828511 and the "new" used one is 722 409 0 3348851. My question is that there are some external hydraulic controls on the drivers side of the earlier (older) transmission that are not on the new one. I don't have a digital camera but it runs from the cover at the drivers side rear through a solenoid valve body at the engine/tranny mating joint (drivers side) and then back to a line about 1/2 way from the front to the shifter mechanism through a banjo bolt into the tranny. Also, the new (later model) has some type of vacuum control on the bowden cable. Any guidance/help would be appreciated in identifying these differences. If I install the transmission what signal do I need to run to the assembly at the bowden cable. It looks like a vacuum connection.
