I am installing the front timing cover back on a 190e 2.3 and it calls for Locktite 573. Hard to find here, is there another option one which is a little cheaper as well, as long as it is anaerobic?
Can this be used on the water pump as well? There was no gasket here when I took apart.
From what I have read on other threads there seems to be a debate on RTV vs. Anaerobic?
